Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, addressed the “Fatah Mubeen Seminar” and extended heartfelt congratulations to Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir on being honored with the prestigious title of Field Marshal — the first public event celebrating this significant national recognition.
“This celebration marks not only a military victory but also the resilience and spirit of a living nation,” said the minister. “Nations that are alive express their joy with gratitude and pride after moments of triumph.”
The event was organized under the auspices of Safea Sweet Home, and the minister lauded the organizers for hosting the commemorative seminar, calling it a fitting tribute to national unity and valor.
In a deeply emotional tribute to Field Marshal Asim Munir, Sardar Yousaf remarked, “A commander whose heart holds the Quran cannot be defeated. After the State of Madinah, Pakistan is the only country founded in the name of Islam, and today, its borders are protected by strong and faithful leadership.”
He commended Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for bestowing the title of Field Marshal upon General Asim Munir, calling it well-deserved recognition of his leadership and contributions. The minister also congratulated the Air Chief and praised the entire armed forces for their historic performance during the “Bunyan al-Marsous” operation, saying it would be remembered in golden words.
Highlighting India’s defeat, Sardar Yousaf emphasized that the outcome served as a “lesson in history,” and congratulated the military, the Pakistani nation, the Prime Minister, and his team for their collective success.
“The strength of our armed forces, guided by faith and strategic brilliance, has proven once again that Pakistan stands unshaken in the face of any challenge,” he concluded.
