On the recent directions of the Minister of Interior Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi and the Chairman, CDA, Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, CDA has launched a strict campaign against illegal / unauthorized societies and buildings within limits of ICT. In this regard, an operation was conducted today i.e. Monday 26th May, 2025 in various sites in Pak PWD Employees Cooperative Housing Society Lohi Bher Zone-V, Islamabad
Operation and Sealed Unauthorised Buildings/Commercial Outlets. The operation was
Jointly conducted by Directorate General of Building and Housing Control, Enforcement Dte, CDA, ICT Administration & Islamabad Police.
The first phase of today’s operation was conducted in accordance with the provisions of the CDA Ordinance, 1960, and the Building Control Regulations, 2020 (as amended 2023). The sealed buildings were found in violation due to non-approval of building plans, unauthorized commercial use / illegal occupancy without completion certificates and non-payment of applicable penalties/fees.
About 30 units were sealed during the first phase of sealing operation in PAK PWD Employees Cooperative Housing Society Lohi Bher Zone-V, Islamabad which include

The joint enforcement operation was aimed at ensuring regulatory compliance and upholding the sanctity of Islamabad’s building regulations. All units sealed were found non-compliant despite prior notices, Show Cause Notices and Final Notices.
Further legal action as per CDA Bye laws will be initiated against repeated violators. All stakeholders are once again advised to obtain proper approvals and certificates from concerned Wing of CDA before initiating any illegal construction or occupancy in the limit of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).
