RDA Seals Honing Pharmaceutical on High Court Road Rawalpindi

On the directions of the Director General (DG), Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), Kinza Murtaza, enforcement squad RDA is taking actions against illegal constructions, sealed a Medical Company Honing Pharmaceutical on High Court Road, Rawalpindi.
According to an RDA spokesperson, the action was taken due to serious violations of land use and construction bylaws. The enforcement action is part of RDA’s ongoing campaign to ensure strict compliance with zoning and regulatory frameworks across the city. The Honing Pharmaceutical was functioning without proper approvals and was in clear violation of existing zoning regulations.
The DG RDA, Kinza Murtaza, said RDA is committed to upholding the law and maintaining order in the city’s development. She said we urge all commercial entities to adhere strictly to legal requirements and obtain the necessary approvals before initiating operations.
This decisive move underscores RDA’s zero-tolerance policy towards unauthorized commercial activities and illegal constructions.


She said that the actions follows direct instructions from Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, who has mandated a zero-tolerance policy on encroachments and illegal developments.
The RDA also calls on the public to cooperate in preserving encroachment-free areas and contribute to making Rawalpindi’s streets safer, more accessible, and free of unnecessary congestion, she added.
The DG RDA has directed the LU&BC Wing to take strict actions against encroachments, illegal and unauthorized constructions and commercial activities without any fear and favour.
She has also directed the Building Control Wing to conduct a survey regarding fees and charges for approval of illegal residential and commercial buildings, commercialization, complementary maps, plans of buildings and regularize all illegal residential cum commercial buildings in the controlled area of RDA.
The operation was conducted by AD Building Control Muhammad Daud, Building Surveyor Aamir Mahmood Malik, Building Inspector Shafiqur Rahman, Building Inspector Shahzad Mahmood, and other RDA staff members with the support of personnel from Police Station Saddar Beroni, Rawalpindi.
