Islamabad ( IMTISAL BUKHARI ) :
Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs, Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry, has stated that Prime Minister has taken notice of the ongoing power and water crisis in Gwadar.
In response to the situation, a special committee has been formed under the directives of the Prime Minister. The committee includes the Chief Minister of Balochistan, as well as ministers and secretaries from the Ministries of Planning, Maritime Affairs, and Energy.
The committee has been tasked with presenting its recommendations to the Prime Minister within a stipulated timeframe.
Minister Chaudhry emphasized that a permanent solution to Gwadar’s electricity and water issues will be sought. He further added that the development of Gwadar remains one of the top priorities of the federal government.
