All institutions are on alert for flood prevention and relief activities, says Dr. Musadik Malik.

Federal Minister for Climate Change, Dr. Musadik Malik, has said that the government is utilizing all available resources to support relief efforts in flood-affected areas.

In an interview with a private news channel, he stated that the federal government, the Punjab government, and other relevant authorities are closely monitoring the flood situation in coordination.

Dr. Malik added that the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is regularly sharing updates with provincial disaster management authorities across the country, including the Sindh government.

He emphasized that all concerned institutions are active, alert, and fully engaged in rescue and disaster management operations.

The federal minister also said that Prime Minister and Punjab Chief Minister are holding regular meetings to closely monitor and assess the evolving situation.
