President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, has expressed heartfelt condolences to the victims of the recent earthquake in Afghanistan. According to a statement issued by the Press Wing of the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Monday, the President extended his deep sorrow over the loss of lives caused by the earthquake and conveyed his sympathies to the bereaved families.
President Zardari affirmed that Pakistan stands in solidarity with the Afghan people during this difficult time.
“I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured and for strength and patience for the affected families,” said the President. He further prayed for the departed souls, asking Allah Almighty to grant them a place in Jannah and to bless their loved ones with fortitude to bear this immense loss.
