High-Level Palestinian Delegation Arrives in Islamabad to Attend 50th International Seerat-un-Nabi Conference

Islamabad, September 3, 2025: A high-level Palestinian delegation, led by Dr. Mahmoud Al-Habbash, Chief Islamic Justice of Palestine and Advisor to the President on Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations, arrived in Islamabad today as state guests of the Government of Pakistan.
Dr. Al-Habbash, a distinguished religious scholar and jurist, is accompanied by Ahmad Hussein, Sharia Judge and Scholar of Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and Al-Aqsa Mosque; Ghassan Al-Rajabi, Sharia Judge and Scholar of the Ibrahimi Mosque; and Hamza Dana, Director General of the Office of the Chief Islamic Justice.
The delegation is in Pakistan to participate in the International Seerat-un-Nabi Conference 2025, scheduled to be held on 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal in Islamabad. Marking its 50th edition, the conference gathers eminent scholars, jurists, and religious leaders from across the Muslim world to reflect on the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Senior officials of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony received the Palestinian guests at the airport, reaffirming Pakistan’s longstanding solidarity with Palestine. Their participation in the conference is seen as a symbol of the deep religious, cultural, and fraternal bonds shared by the two nations.
The International Seerat-un-Nabi Conference has long served as a global platform for promoting peace, tolerance, and interfaith harmony. This year’s theme is: “State Responsibilities in Educating and Training for the Positive Use of Social Media – In Light of the Teachings of the Holy Prophet ﷺ.”
