Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif visited Anzhen Hospital and reviewed the modern facilities and systems in place. The Prime Minister expressed admiration for the hospital’s efficient system, cutting-edge technology, and the high standard of healthcare services provided.
During the visit, the Prime Minister was briefed on the healthcare facilities available at the hospital. He was also shown advanced technologies including the use of robots for effective hospital management and patient care.
Appreciating the hospital’s simple yet robust and sustainable infrastructure, the Prime Minister directed Interior Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi to ensure that all ongoing hospital projects in Islamabad — including the under-construction Jinnah Medical Complex — follow the model of Anzhen Hospital.
He further instructed the Ministry of Health to prioritize the provision of high-quality healthcare facilities on the pattern of Chinese hospitals in all under-construction healthcare projects across Pakistan.
The visit was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Planning and Development Minister Dr. Ahsan Iqbal, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Information and Broadcasting Minister Attaullah Tarar, and other senior officials.
