According to a statement issued by the Press Wing of the Presidency, the first MoU was signed between Luoyang Modern Biotechnology and the Government of Sindh, represented by Sindh Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah. The agreement focuses on the modernization of Pakistan’s livestock industry, with a goal to improve food security and generate employment in rural areas.
The second MoU was signed between Beijing Asian Africa Longyou and ASM Services, outlining plans for the promotion and development of a modern textile industrial park in Pakistan. This initiative is expected to bolster the country’s industrial growth and boost textile exports.
The third MoU was signed between Sichuan Chuanxiao Fire Trucks Manufacturing Company and ASM Services. It establishes a framework for the supply, distribution, sales, and after-sales services of fire trucks and advanced emergency equipment in Pakistan. The partnership aims to strengthen Pakistan’s disaster response capabilities and enhance community safety.
Addressing the ceremony, President Zardari stated that the MoUs represent a significant step forward in Pakistan-China cooperation and will open new avenues in sectors directly contributing to Pakistan’s economic development and public welfare.
He emphasized that modernizing the livestock industry would lead to improved food security and rural employment, the textile park would drive industrial and export growth, and the fire truck and emergency equipment collaboration would enhance the country’s ability to respond to disasters effectively.
The event was attended by Senator Saleem Mandviwalla, Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, and the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, among other dignitaries.
