Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has described former US President Donald Trump as a champion of peace, acknowledging his and his team’s crucial role in facilitating the ceasefire between Pakistan and India.
Speaking to the media in New York, the Prime Minister said that President Trump has consistently sought to promote peace globally. He noted that during his address at the United Nations General Assembly, Trump emphasized efforts toward peace.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlighted that the former US President and his team played a key role in bringing about the ceasefire between the two neighboring countries, marking an important step toward reducing tensions in the region.
