US President Donald Trump has announced that a deal to end the Gaza conflict and secure the release of hostages is close to being finalized. Speaking to reporters, Trump said he is nearing an agreement that would both end the Gaza war and bring hostages back home.

The announcement came ahead of a possible meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu scheduled for Monday. While Trump confirmed the existence of a deal related to Gaza, he did not disclose further details.

Trump revealed that he has engaged in positive talks regarding Gaza with key Middle Eastern leaders. A senior White House official told Reuters that the upcoming meeting between Trump and Netanyahu could involve discussions on the framework of this agreement.

Recently, President Trump met with leaders of Islamic countries in New York, where the situation in Gaza and the broader Middle East was extensively discussed during a nearly 50-minute session. Trump emphasized that the ongoing conflict must stop, stating, “Enough is enough.” He also clarified that he would not allow Israel to annex parts of the West Bank, a stance he has discussed directly with Netanyahu.
