BISP Chairperson Rubina Khalid Visits Flood-Affected Areas of Buner, Launches Mobile Registration Van

Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Senator Rubina Khalid, along with Member of National Assembly Nafisa Shah, visited the flood-affected areas of Buner district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to a press release issued on Monday, Senator Rubina Khalid announced the deployment of a BISP Mobile Registration Van in Buner to facilitate the registration of flood-affected families. The van will enable local residents to access various programs under BISP more conveniently.

During her visit, Senator Khalid reviewed the ongoing relief operations in coordination with PPP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Syed Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha and other party leaders. The discussions focused on comprehensive rehabilitation efforts for the affected families.

Deputy Commissioner Buner, Kashif Qayyum Khan, briefed the BISP Chairperson on the scale of flood damages, ongoing relief work, and rehabilitation measures being undertaken by the district administration.

On this occasion, essential supplies were also distributed among the flood victims as part of the relief efforts.
