Beijing (Monitoring Desk):
China has successfully launched two new test satellites, Shiyan-30 No. 1 and No. 2, from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan Province, according to state media outlet Xinhua.
The satellites were launched at 11:00 a.m. local time on Monday aboard a Long March-2D carrier rocket. Both satellites were successfully placed into their designated orbits.
According to officials, the Shiyan-30 satellites will be used for experimental verification of Earth observation technologies, further advancing China’s capabilities in satellite-based research and data collection.
This mission marked the 598th flight of the Long March series of carrier rockets, a cornerstone of China’s ambitious space exploration and satellite deployment program.
China continues to expand its space endeavors, with increased focus on remote sensing, telecommunications, and scientific research satellites as part of its long-term aerospace development strategy.
