Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Iranian FM Discuss Bilateral Ties and Regional Peace Efforts

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, held a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi on Wednesday. The two leaders reviewed the longstanding brotherly relations between Pakistan and Iran and exchanged views on the evolving regional situation, as well as ongoing diplomatic efforts to promote peace and security in the region.

According to a statement released by the Foreign Office, both ministers reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and emphasized the importance of continued diplomatic engagement in addressing regional challenges.

The discussion also focused on enhancing cooperation not only at the bilateral level but also on multilateral platforms. Both sides expressed their determination to deepen collaboration in areas of mutual interest and continue working together to advance regional stability and prosperity.
