Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, extended heartfelt congratulations to the leadership and people of China on the occasion of the 76th National Day of the People’s Republic of China. In her congratulatory message issued on Wednesday, she emphasized that the people of Punjab fully share in the joy of their brotherly nation’s celebration.
CM Maryam Nawaz praised the enduring Pakistan-China friendship, calling it an undeniable reality that extends from governments to the people. She stated that China and Pakistan are exemplary neighbors, trusted friends, and valued strategic partners.
Highlighting China’s role in supporting Pakistan’s economic development and stability, she noted that Chinese cooperation has significantly contributed to progress in various sectors. She particularly lauded China’s global contributions to human development and its vision of building a shared brighter future.
Referring to her recent visit to China, the Chief Minister revealed that Punjab has received a state-of-the-art co-ablation machine for the treatment of cancer patients. This advanced medical technology, she explained, enables faster recovery for cancer patients and represents a major step forward in improving healthcare services in the province.
Maryam Nawaz also conveyed her best wishes to President Xi Jinping and his team, expressing hope for continued strengthening of bilateral ties and collaboration across various sectors in the years ahead.
