Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep pride over being awarded an honorary doctorate in Leadership and Governance by Her Majesty Tengku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, Queen of the Malaysian state of Pahang.
In a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, following the conclusion of his official visit to Malaysia, the Prime Minister said that he accepted the honorary PhD as a tribute on behalf of the people of Pakistan.
Calling the honor a symbol of the enduring intellectual, cultural, and people-to-people ties between Pakistan and Malaysia, Prime Minister Shehbaz stated that the award reflects the strong and growing relationship between the two brotherly nations.
