Deputy PM Ishaq Dar Thanks Jordan for Facilitating Return of Global Freedom Flotilla Activists

Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi on Wednesday, expressing gratitude for Jordan’s support in facilitating the release and repatriation of individuals associated with the “Global Freedom Flotilla.”

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar particularly appreciated Jordan’s assistance in enabling the return of former Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan, who had participated in the humanitarian flotilla mission and is expected to arrive back in Pakistan on Thursday.

Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and Jordan. They also agreed to continue close cooperation for regional peace and stability.

Deputy PM Dar acknowledged Jordan’s crucial role in humanitarian coordination and emphasized Pakistan’s desire to maintain strong diplomatic engagement with the Kingdom of Jordan on shared regional and international concerns.
