Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, has clarified that he has not officially received any resignation from the Chief Minister. Speaking to a private news channel, Governor Kundi stated that once he receives a resignation, he will act in accordance with the law.
Responding to reports that the resignation had been submitted to the Military Secretary, the Governor dismissed them as “fake news.”
In response to a question about the opposition’s candidate for the Chief Minister’s position, Kundi said only the opposition leader could comment on that matter. He also remarked that the entire Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is celebrating a “Day of Deliverance” today.
