Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has lauded the bravery and professionalism of the security forces following a successful operation in Daraban, Dera Ismail Khan, which resulted in the elimination of seven Khawarij militants. The Prime Minister paid rich tribute to Major Sibtain Haider, who embraced martyrdom during the operation.
In a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office on Thursday, PM Shehbaz prayed for the elevation of the martyred officer’s rank in the afterlife and offered condolences to the bereaved family, praying for their strength and patience.
He stated that the officers and soldiers of Pakistan’s armed forces are tirelessly defending the nation day and night, and the entire nation, including himself, is proud of their courage and sacrifices.
Reaffirming his government’s unwavering resolve to eradicate the menace of terrorism from the country, the Prime Minister emphasized that the war against terrorism will continue until its complete elimination. He assured that the entire nation stands firmly with the armed forces in their steadfast commitment to protect the homeland.
