Federal Minister for Railways, Muhammad Haneef Abbasi, has lauded the bravery and professionalism of Pakistan’s security forces following a successful operation in Dera Ismail Khan against the Indian-backed terrorist group “Khawarij.”
In a statement issued on Thursday, the minister said the entire nation takes pride in its valiant armed forces and soldiers who carried out a major operation, eliminating seven terrorists. “The courage and determination demonstrated by our forces are commendable and a source of national pride,” he stated.
Haneef Abbasi expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of Major Sibtain Haider, who was martyred while fighting bravely during the operation. He called the fallen officer a national hero, adding that his supreme sacrifice would always be remembered and honored.
The minister further emphasized that the sacrifices made by Pakistan’s security forces in the fight against terrorism are unmatched. “Our soldiers remain resolute despite the threats, and this struggle will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated,” he affirmed.
He concluded by saying that the commitment and sacrifices of the security forces are a guarantee of a peaceful and secure Pakistan, and the entire nation stands united with its brave defenders.
