President Asif Ali Zardari has lauded the courageous operation carried out by Pakistan’s security forces against India-backed militants in Orakzai, stating that the nation will forever remember the sacrifices of Lieutenant Colonel Junaid Tariq, Major Tayyab Rahat, and other martyrs.
In a statement issued by the Presidency’s press wing on Friday, President Zardari commended the armed forces for dismantling the network of foreign-sponsored militants, calling it a proud moment for the nation.
“The continuous success in the fight against terrorism reflects our unwavering resolve,” the President said. He further added that the brave sons of the soil have created history by laying down their lives for the protection of the motherland.
President Zardari reaffirmed the nation’s commitment to eradicating terrorism and expressed deep appreciation for the dedication and sacrifice of Pakistan’s armed forces.
