The extremist group Bajrang Dal is reportedly active under the directives of the Modi government, continuing a dangerous game of using religious fanaticism to cling to power. Critics say the fascist regime of Narendra Modi has exposed the real face of India by turning sectarianism into a political weapon.
According to reports, under Modi’s patronage, the BJP and Bajrang Dal have become symbols of organized extremism. Recent communal riots in Katak, Odisha, have highlighted India’s growing insecurity for minority communities.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee harshly condemned Modi’s government, calling the situation in Katak a “burning crisis.” She accused the BJP and Bajrang Dal of orchestrating communal violence in Katak and warned that the BJP’s actions are leading to the destruction of the country. “I have never seen such an arrogant and authoritarian government as the BJP,” Banerjee stated. She further asserted, “The BJP is in power today, but it will not remain so tomorrow.”
Under Modi’s rule, minorities face increasing insecurity as extremist organizations, including Bajrang Dal and RSS, operate with impunity. Modi’s incompetent politics, driven by religious divides, has plunged India into a climate of hatred, threatening not only India’s internal harmony but also regional peace.
