Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov. According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday, the two leaders discussed the situation in the Middle East and the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
Both ministers exchanged views on promoting peace and stability in the region, emphasizing the broader efforts of Arab and Islamic countries. They also discussed the upcoming summit conference to be held in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, aimed at fostering regional cooperation and addressing pressing issues.
The conversation highlighted the mutual commitment of Pakistan and Azerbaijan to support peaceful resolutions and enhance collaboration for regional security and development.
