Providing quality recreational facilities to citizens is top priority, says DG PHA Rawalpindi

Director General Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Rawalpindi Ahmed Hassan Ranjha has said that providing quality recreational facilities to citizens is top priority and no negligence will be tolerated in this regard.
He said in his statement that PHA Rawalpindi is active in making the city green, lush and beautiful. The work of decorating, renovating and maintaining flowers and plants in parks, green belts and important places across the city is going on at a fast pace.
He said that the staff is busy day and night not only on the beautification of green belts of parks and highways but also on the beautification of squares and intersections. The work of maintaining plants and flowers in PHA nurseries is also being done regularly. He said that the flowers and greenery planted in various parks and green belts of the city are the center of attention of the people.
For the convenience of the citizens, excellent security arrangements have also been made in the parks. He said that the tree plantation campaign is also going on in full swing to make the city green and lush and reduce environmental pollution. According to the vision of the Punjab government, work is underway on several upgradation and beautification projects in Rawalpindi, which will not only increase the beauty of the city but will also provide a healthy and pleasant recreational environment to the citizens.
