The citizens of Rawalpindi have expressed unwavering solidarity with the Pakistan Armed Forces, paying rich tribute to the brave soldiers who embraced martyrdom while defending the homeland against unprovoked attacks by Afghan Taliban militants and India-backed terrorists.
In conversations with APP on Monday, people from various walks of life hailed the martyrs’ ultimate sacrifice and commended their courage in thwarting the enemy’s nefarious designs. They noted that the martyrs set a timeless example of bravery, selflessness, and unshakable resolve while defending the motherland.
“The sacrifices of our armed forces will continue to inspire the nation and serve as a beacon for generations to come,” said one resident. Citizens across Rawalpindi and other cities of Pakistan offered heartfelt tributes to the fallen heroes and prayed for the swift recovery of injured soldiers.
“These brave sons of the soil are the true heroes of our nation,” said local businessman Raja Babar, adding that “real strength lies in fearlessly defending one’s homeland.”
Educationist Amjad Zaib stated that the sacrifices made by the armed forces serve as a powerful lesson in unity, discipline, and resilience for the youth. Social and political figure Malik Zulfiqar emphasized that the martyrs are the pillars of Pakistan’s sovereignty and the entire nation takes pride in them.
School teacher Misbah Tahir highlighted that during decisive retaliatory operations, the Pakistan Army responded firmly to enemy aggression, reportedly eliminating over 200 Afghan Taliban militants working under Indian patronage.
Uzma Tahir added that the courageous actions of the Pakistani soldiers not only neutralized immediate threats but also foiled deeper conspiracies against the state.
The public collectively pledged to stand shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces until terrorism is completely eradicated. Expressing full support for the families of the martyrs, citizens reaffirmed their commitment to safeguarding Pakistan’s sovereignty, integrity, and honor—at any cost.
