The Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) is actively implementing a comprehensive strategy to promote religious and cultural tourism in the country. The initiative aims to highlight Pakistan’s spiritual and cultural identity on the global stage while ensuring modern and secure facilities for pilgrims and tourists.
A PTDC official revealed that the corporation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the organizers of the Pakistan Hajj and Umrah Expo 2025. The expo, scheduled to take place from October 24 to 26 at the Pak-China Center, will bring together Hajj and Umrah tour operators, airlines, hotels, and all relevant stakeholders. The event will provide a platform for service providers to showcase their offerings and demonstrate how they intend to make the pilgrims’ spiritual journey a memorable experience.
During the exhibition, special training programs will be conducted for tour operators and other partners to promote a positive image of Pakistan among visitors. The PTDC is actively promoting Pakistan’s religious and cultural identity on international forums and exhibitions such as the “Pakistan Hajj and Umrah Expo” to attract global investment and foster partnerships.
Through collaboration with the tourism, aviation, and hospitality sectors both domestically and internationally, the PTDC aims to create new investment opportunities and generate employment. The corporation’s vision is to position Pakistan as a leading destination where religious, cultural, and natural tourism play a vital role in boosting the country’s economy and enhancing its international reputation.
