PM Shehbaz Sharif Commends Security Forces for Repelling Afghan Taliban Attack at Kurram Sector

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep concern over recent provocations at the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, including hostile actions by the Afghan Taliban, India-backed elements, and extremist factions. He praised the Pakistan security forces for successfully thwarting an attack by the Afghan Taliban in the Kurram sector.

According to a statement issued by the PM Office’s media wing on Wednesday, the Prime Minister commended the security forces for their swift and effective response to the unprovoked aggression. He asserted that the Pakistan Army delivered a strong and appropriate reply, reaffirming that the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity will be defended at all costs.

PM Shehbaz strongly condemned the use of Afghan soil for terrorist activities against Pakistan and emphasized that such actions threaten regional peace and stability.
