ISLAMABAD (Staff Reporter)

In a major recognition of Pakistan’s evolving global influence, CNN has acknowledged that the country’s military and diplomatic strategies have significantly elevated its international standing. In a detailed analytical report, renowned CNN analyst Fareed Zakaria highlighted Pakistan’s growing strategic relevance in the region and the failure of India’s attempts to isolate Pakistan on the global stage through false narratives.

According to the report, Pakistan’s effective military and state-level diplomacy has not only strengthened its ties with major powers, including the United States, but also thwarted India’s efforts to use incidents like the Pulwama false flag operation to tarnish Pakistan’s image internationally.

Zakaria pointed out a notable shift in U.S. foreign policy under former President Donald Trump, who was previously seen as closely aligned with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The report claims that Trump now reportedly holds Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, in high regard. During a recent conference in Egypt, Trump is said to have referred to General Munir as his “favorite Field Marshal.”

CNN also highlighted the increasing economic cooperation between the United States and Pakistan, including a tariff agreement signed in July and a joint initiative for exploring Pakistani oil reserves. These developments mark a notable improvement in economic and strategic ties.

The report further noted that Pakistan’s military professionalism has garnered international attention, with Saudi Arabia recently entering into a defense agreement with Islamabad. The growing defense collaboration underscores Pakistan’s rising profile as a trusted and capable military partner.

CNN concluded that Pakistan’s diplomatic and defense achievements have strengthened its global identity and enhanced its influence in regional and international affairs.
