The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) issued a clarification on Tuesday, stating emphatically that there is no shortage of any kind of fuel in the country.
In an official statement, an OGRA spokesperson acknowledged that there had been a “temporary delay” in the clearance of some imported petroleum products. However, the spokesperson assured that the situation is now “fully under control.”
The regulatory body provided specific updates, confirming that a diesel-laden ship for PSO and a petrol-laden ship for a private oil company have now been cleared.
The statement concluded by asserting that the supply of fuel across the country is continuing as per normal routine and all business activities are proceeding as usual.
