Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Junaid Anwar Chaudhry has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Pakistan Navy, particularly the officers and sailors of PNS Yarmook, for their successful anti-narcotics operation in the Arabian Sea. He praised the operation as a proud moment for the nation and a testament to Pakistan’s active role in global maritime security efforts.
The minister emphasized that by foiling a drug smuggling attempt worth billions of rupees, the Pakistan Navy has delivered a strong message to elements working against the country. He described the operation as clear evidence of the Navy’s professional excellence, vigilance, and commitment.
Highlighting Pakistan’s cooperation in international maritime missions, Chaudhry applauded PNS Yarmook’s vital role in the joint operation conducted under the Saudi-led Combined Maritime Forces, calling it commendable and a source of national pride.
He further stated that the entire nation is proud of the brave officers and sailors of the Pakistan Navy, who remain tirelessly dedicated to protecting the country’s maritime frontiers and maintaining peace at sea.
