Security Forces Kill One Terrorist, Clear Militant Hideouts in Bajaur’s Shahi Tangi Forest

In a successful counter-terrorism operation, security forces killed one militant and forced others to flee with injuries in the Shahi Tangi forest area of Bajaur, according to official sources.

Acting on credible intelligence, the forces launched a targeted operation against the Khawarij terrorists hiding in caves and tunnels within the dense forest. A fierce exchange of fire ensued, resulting in the death of one terrorist, while others managed to escape, reportedly wounded.

Security sources confirmed that the entire area, including the caves and underground tunnels, has been cleared of terrorist presence. During the operation, forces also seized weapons, explosive materials, and communication equipment used by the militants.

This operation is part of an ongoing effort by Pakistan’s armed forces and security agencies to eradicate terrorism and restore peace in the region. Authorities reiterated their commitment to eliminating the menace of terrorism and ensuring the safety and security of the country’s citizens.
