Begum Nusrat Bhutto Remembered as a Symbol of Courage and Democracy on Her 14th Death Anniversary — PPP MNA Sehar Kamran

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and Member of the National Assembly Sehar Kamran paid glowing tribute to Begum Nusrat Bhutto, the “Mother of Democracy,” on her 14th death anniversary, describing her as a symbol of courage, resilience, and sacrifice.

Sehar Kamran said that Begum Nusrat Bhutto never bowed before dictatorship, even in the most difficult times, and demonstrated unmatched determination for the restoration of democracy. She added that Begum Nusrat Bhutto’s dignity, struggle, and unwavering commitment would always be remembered as a shining chapter in history.

Highlighting her legacy, Sehar Kamran stated that Begum Nusrat Bhutto was a beacon of hope for all who believe in freedom, justice, and equality, and her services and courage continue to inspire the people of Pakistan, especially women.

She further said that Begum Nusrat Bhutto, the devoted wife of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and the great mother of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, bravely resisted oppression and dictatorship.

Reaffirming her commitment, Sehar Kamran said that the mission of Begum Nusrat Bhutto would be carried forward to strengthen democracy and protect the rights of the people. Concluding her remarks, she said that the nation salutes Begum Nusrat Bhutto’s lifelong struggle against tyranny, and her sacrifices will forever remain etched in the hearts of the Pakistani people.
