Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman held an important meeting in Islamabad to discuss the prevailing political situation in the country.
According to sources, the two leaders engaged in a detailed discussion on parliamentary affairs, upcoming legislation, and the role of opposition parties in the legislative process. Matters related to parliamentary cooperation and relations between the government and its allied parties were also reviewed.
Sources further revealed that issues pertaining to national stability, the economic situation, and electoral reforms came under consideration during the meeting.
Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari was accompanied by Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, Humayun Khan, and Jameel Soomro, while JUI-F leaders Maulana Asad Mahmood and Mufti Ibrar were also present.
According to sources, the meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere, and both leaders agreed to maintain regular contact on political matters. The PPP delegation left Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s residence without speaking to the media.
