Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that Ukrainian forces in the Kupiansk and Pukrovsk regions are encircled and trapped. Speaking to the press, he emphasized that Russian forces are making overall progress in Ukraine and that the country is ensuring its long-term security.
President Putin added that Russia is ready to allow journalists access to the encircled Ukrainian troops, leaving the political leadership of Ukraine responsible for decisions regarding their trapped personnel.
On the defense technology front, Putin expressed pride in Russian scientists following the successful testing of the Burevestnik missile. He also highlighted the Poseidon missile, stating its power exceeds that of the Sarmat missile, underlining Russia’s growing strategic capabilities.
The statements reflect Moscow’s continued focus on military operations in Ukraine and the development of advanced missile technology as part of its national security strategy.
