A review meeting was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Shaheed Benazirabad to assess the performance of polio teams during the recent National Anti-Polio Campaign. The meeting, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Abdul Samad Nizamani, evaluated achieved targets, challenges faced during the campaign, and children who missed vaccination.

District Health Officer Dr. Mudassir Hussain and Polio Focal Person Dr. Allah Bakhsh Rajper briefed participants on the campaign’s outcomes, highlighting that the district successfully achieved 100% of its targets. However, some children in certain areas missed the polio vaccine due to the absence of residents. These areas have been identified for focused attention in upcoming campaigns.

Deputy Commissioner Abdul Samad Nizamani instructed officials to strictly implement the “Zero Missed Child” policy in future campaigns and monitor the performance of every team on a daily basis. He emphasized that the complete eradication of polio requires coordinated efforts from all relevant departments, organizations, and social groups.
