Pakistan Reaffirms Strong Partnership with Global Fund on HIV/AIDS, TB, and Malaria Programs

Federal Minister for Health Syed Mustafa Kamal has emphasized that Pakistan is a long-standing and key partner of the Global Fund in programs addressing HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis (TB), and malaria. He made these remarks during a meeting with Global Fund CEO Peter Sands in Geneva.

Both leaders discussed progress in the prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS, TB, and malaria in Pakistan and expressed satisfaction with the ongoing collaboration. They also agreed to further strengthen their partnership to enhance health outcomes in the country.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Mustafa Kamal highlighted the effectiveness of ongoing measures to prevent these diseases and praised the services provided by the Global Fund in Pakistan’s health sector.

Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to Geneva, Dr. Bilal Ahmed, accompanied the Health Minister during the meeting.
