BISP Chairperson Emphasizes Transparency and Zero Tolerance Against Corruption on International Anti-Corruption Day

Senator Rubina Khalid, Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), has highlighted that transparency, integrity, and accountability form the foundation of a strong Pakistan. Speaking on the occasion of International Anti-Corruption Day, she stated that maintaining a transparent system in BISP remains the program’s top priority, and the organization strictly adheres to a zero-tolerance policy against corruption.

Senator Rubina Khalid stressed that corruption is the biggest obstacle to the country’s progress and collective efforts are essential to eliminate it. She warned that any misuse of public resources is an unforgivable crime and emphasized that every citizen plays a critical role in the fight against corruption.

She further noted that a system rooted in honesty ensures that the underprivileged receive genuine benefits, urging the youth to actively participate in promoting a corruption-free society. Senator Rubina Khalid also highlighted that BISP aid is being delivered directly to eligible recipients through a transparent distribution system, ensuring accountability and efficiency in social support programs.
