PSX Rebounds Strongly as Benchmark Index Crosses 169,000 Mark Again

Karachi (Bureau Report)

The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) regained momentum on the last trading day of the week, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index once again surpassing the 169,000 level.

At the opening of Friday’s session, the market displayed a mixed trend; however, strong buying support soon pushed the index up by over 1,000 points, taking it to 169,641 points.

By the close of the trading day, the KSE-100 Index had recorded a robust gain of 1,289 points, settling at 169,864 points.

This recovery comes after Thursday’s session, during which the benchmark index had declined by 877 points to close at 168,574 points.

Market analysts attribute the rebound to improved investor confidence and expectations of economic stability.
