Federal Minister for Health, Syed Mustafa Kamal, emphasized that serving the public is the government’s top priority and highlighted ongoing efforts to improve the healthcare sector. He made these remarks on Monday while addressing an event in Karachi.
The Minister stated that upon assuming office, the health sector faced multiple challenges, but special attention is being given to its improvement. “Serving the public is our foremost priority, and we are committed to working for the nation without discrimination,” he said, adding that their approach is results-driven, not just rhetoric.
Syed Mustafa Kamal also highlighted transparency and accountability, noting that despite political opponents’ attempts, no allegations of corruption have been proven against him, and public funds are being spent on welfare projects.
He further stressed the importance of strong local governance, stating that Karachi holds a central role in national development. Drawing from examples of developed countries, he emphasized that a robust local government system is essential for sustainable progress, and that reforms are underway to strengthen governance structures across the country.
