YouTube, the world’s leading video-sharing social media platform, has stated that Pakistan’s creative ecosystem is growing at a remarkable pace, with creators, artists, and storytellers transforming the country into a rising powerhouse of digital content.
In a recent statement, the platform noted that as the world moves into 2026, Pakistani creativity is not only flourishing domestically but is also captivating audiences and screens across the globe. YouTube revealed that in 2025, more than 25,000 Pakistani YouTube channels crossed the milestone of 10,000 subscribers. Additionally, over 13,000 channels surpassed 100,000 subscribers, while more than 1,000 Pakistani channels achieved the prestigious milestone of one million subscribers.
According to YouTube, these achievements are a clear reflection of the quality, authenticity, and growing popularity of Pakistani content on a global scale.
One of the most striking aspects of this growth is Pakistan’s expanding international reach. More than 60 percent of the total watch time for Pakistani content now comes from audiences outside the country. From Karachi to Kuala Lumpur and Lahore to London, Pakistani creators are building cultural bridges through entertainment, storytelling, and shared human experiences that transcend borders.
Commenting on the development, Google’s Regional Director for Business and Operations, Farhan Qureshi, said that Pakistani creators are no longer producing content solely for local audiences. Instead, they are crafting stories, perspectives, and entertainment that resonate with people across continents, redefining what it means to be a global content creator.
