Information Minister Atta Tarar Lauds Contributions of Minority Community at Christmas Ceremony

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Atta Tarar on Tuesday said that the sacrifices and contributions of the minority community for Pakistan could never be forgotten.

Addressing a Christmas ceremony in the federal capital, Atta Tarar said that the Christian community had always given love and played a significant role in the country’s development. He acknowledged that minorities were serving the nation with dedication in every field.

The information minister said it was an honor for him to participate in the Christmas celebrations, adding that preparations for Christmas events were in full swing in his constituency as well. He emphasized that all minorities in Pakistan enjoyed equal rights and that the protection of minority rights was a top priority of the government.

Atta Tarar announced that a Christmas bazaar would soon be set up in Islamabad. He said the services of the Christian community in Pakistan would be written in golden words, reiterating that their sacrifices for the country could not be overlooked.

He further stressed the need for unity to ensure national development and lasting peace. Expressing gratitude for the love and support shown by the Christian community, Atta Tarar said he considered himself a custodian of their rights and would continue to safeguard them.
