Pakistan, Tajikistan Agree to Strengthen Bilateral Ties Through Cultural Diplomacy

Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Division, Mr. Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, held a meeting with Tajikistan’s Minister of Culture, Matluba Khan Suhturyan Amanzadeh, on Wednesday in Islamabad. During the meeting, both sides agreed to further strengthen bilateral relations through cultural diplomacy.

Earlier, the Federal Minister welcomed the high-level cultural delegation from Tajikistan, led by Minister Matluba Khan Suhturyan Amanzadeh, at Islamabad International Airport. The Tajik cultural delegation is visiting Pakistan in connection with the first joint cultural festival between the two countries.

The inaugural ceremony of the cultural festival will be held on Thursday at the Convention Center Islamabad. The festival aims to open a new chapter of cultural cooperation and foster deeper people-to-people ties between Pakistan and Tajikistan.
