The event celebrated Easypaisa Digital Bank’s first anniversary of digital banking operations and was attended by federal ministers, policymakers, regulators, business leaders, and media representatives. During the ceremony, the bank highlighted its achievements over the past year, future objectives, and announced a significant partnership with ANT International’s World First Platform, enabling Easypaisa users to receive cross-border payments and remittances from over 100 countries in multiple currencies directly into their accounts.

Shiza Fatima Khawaja noted that rapid digitization is modernizing Pakistan’s financial system and contributing positively to IT exports, reflecting the bright future of the national economy. According to Easypaisa, during 2025, the platform processed over 3.8 billion transactions worth more than PKR 15 trillion.

The event showcased Easypaisa’s role in expanding access to digital financial services, promoting financial inclusion, and advancing a cashless economy.
