Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has stated that the United Nations review report on the Pahalgam incident has acknowledged Pakistan’s stance, earning recognition for the country at the international level
In a statement posted on social media platform X on Friday, Dr. Chaudhry said the UN review report found that India failed to substantiate allegations of Pakistan’s involvement in the Pahalgam incident. The report also highlighted that on May 7, India used force in Pakistani territory, which is against the United Nations Charter.
The report further clarified that if India’s actions are considered an armed attack, Pakistan has the right to defend itself. Dr. Chaudhry added that the UN emphasized India must respect Pakistan’s sovereignty and refrain from actions that violate its legal rights.
