Pakistani Actor Afzal Khan aka Rambo Criticizes Cold Reception in Karachi

KARACHI BUREAU REPORT

Pakistani actor Afzal Khan, popularly known as Rambo, has spoken out about the cold reception he and his family have experienced since moving to Karachi last year. In a recent telephone interview with a private TV channel, Khan shared that the social warmth he experienced in Lahore is largely missing in Karachi.

Khan, who moved to Karachi with his wife and sons for work purposes, stated that while they have worked with almost everyone in the city, very few reached out to welcome them. He singled out Asma Abbas for extending a warm greeting. He also appreciated Behroze Sabzwari for personally calling him and Javeria Saud and Saud Qasmi for helping them settle and even finding a home.

“Except for these few, no one contacted us or invited us over. We enjoy social gatherings, but that culture seems absent here,” Khan said. He added that his wife had to close her salon after relocating to Karachi due to the lack of support.
