Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah Vows to Bring Extortionists to Justice, Approves Rs9.28 Billion for Industrial Zones

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has pledged to bring extortionists to justice, stating that detailed meetings have been held to tackle the rising menace in the city. Speaking to the media, he said that the handlers of extortion networks are currently operating from abroad and that the federal government has been informed about their activities.The Chief Minister added that the federal authorities have contacted Interpol to facilitate the arrest of the ringleaders of the extortion mafia residing outside Pakistan.

In a separate high-level meeting chaired by CM Shah regarding the infrastructure of Karachi’s industrial areas, approval was granted for Rs9.28 billion to develop and rehabilitate industrial zones. He emphasized the timely disbursement of funds to industrialists through grants-in-aid to boost economic activity and support the growth of the city’s industrial sector.
