Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, met the victorious Pakistan Under-19 Asia Cup team at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi, where he congratulated the players on their historic achievement and termed it a moment of pride for the entire nation.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir extended his heartfelt congratulations to the young players, team management, and officials on winning the Asia Cup. He praised the team’s hard work, dedication, and outstanding performance throughout the tournament.
Addressing the players, the Field Marshal said that their success reflects the immense talent and potential of Pakistan’s youth. He lauded the team’s discipline, teamwork, and courage, stating that such achievements bring honor to the country and inspire future generations.
He further emphasized that the youth of Pakistan are the foundation of the nation’s future. Their energy, abilities, and character, he said, will play a vital role in shaping national progress and strengthening Pakistan’s standing on the global stage.
