During the controversy, Saba Qamar shared a post on Instagram by Raheel Rao, Editor-in-Chief of Diva Magazine, who strongly defended the actress. He sarcastically commented that if an actor is portraying a police officer, should anyone expect her to appear in bridal attire or a lawn suit? He emphasized that costume choices are determined by the script and character, not by public assumptions.
