Punjab Minister for Education Rana Sikandar Hayat Khan visited Sundas Foundation Lahore on the occasion of the birthday of President of Pakistan Muslim League (N), Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. Upon his arrival, he was warmly received by Founder and President of Sundas Foundation Muhammad Yaseen Khan along with the foundation’s management.
During the visit, the provincial education minister cut the birthday cake of PML-N President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif along with children suffering from thalassemia and hemophilia. Rana Sikandar Hayat Khan met the children, distributed gifts among them and expressed affection and encouragement, bringing smiles to their faces.

While talking to the media, Rana Sikandar Hayat Khan said that the politics of PML-N President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif symbolizes service, leadership, and development. He stated that Nawaz Sharif has always fulfilled his commitments and made public service the cornerstone of his political struggle. He added that Quaid Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is a popular and visionary leader whose political insight and people-friendly leadership are acknowledged even by his critics. His focus on transparency, good governance and development, he said, ushered Pakistan into a new era of progress and prosperity.
The provincial education minister further stated that the day also marked Christmas, while the birthdays of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif were also being celebrated on the same day. “We celebrated all these occasions together with children suffering from thalassemia and hemophilia and cut cakes to mark the birthdays of Quaid-e-Azam and Nawaz Sharif,” he added.
Rana Sikandar Hayat Khan said that Sundas Foundation is a source of smiles for millions of Pakistanis and that the institution is nothing less than a blessing for children suffering from thalassemia. He emphasized that minorities enjoy complete protection in Punjab and across Pakistan, and that the government is taking effective measures for their welfare.

On this occasion, Founder and President of Sundas Foundation Muhammad Yaseen Khan thanked the provincial education minister for his visit and said that sharing happiness with children suffering from thalassemia and hemophilia is a core part of the foundation’s mission. He added that Sundas Foundation believes in serving humanity without discrimination of religion or politics, which remains its true purpose.
