Peshawar Traffic Police Crack Down on Stunt Riding, Detain 8 Youths

Peshawar Bureau Report

The Peshawar City Traffic Police conducted a crackdown on stunt riding, arresting eight young men for performing “one-wheel” stunts and impounding their motorcycles. The operation took place on Northern Bypass under the supervision of SP Headquarters Arbab Shafeeullah Jan, with SHO Traffic Salman Khan leading the enforcement, following directives from Chief Traffic Officer Dr. Zahidullah.

Dr. Zahidullah stated that individuals involved in stunt riding will not be shown any leniency, and strict legal action will be taken against them. The traffic department aims to intensify operations against such reckless behavior, confiscate motorcycles, and require written guarantees from the parents of offenders that their children will not repeat such acts. He emphasized that stunt riding is extremely dangerous and equates to playing with one’s own life, warning that the traffic police will continue to take stringent measures against such activities.
